Sorry I've been busy?!

Whoa, no new blog post for 2010? Things that have been keeping me quite occupied, in no particular order:

1. Making a mii that looks exactly like me! Okay, Laura is the one that made it but can you see the resemblance??

2. Playing with the Christmas present I bought myself. Aren't present you buy yourself the best?? It's a polaroid-esque camera that prints out credit card sized pictuers! The Japanese=genius.

3. Seeing crappy movies. Don't EVEN get me started on this movie. I even hated this one more than Avatar, if that's possible.

4. Seeing awesome movies. FYI, contrary to Laura Fletcher's belief, the main guy in this movie is NOT Orlando Bloom.

5. Reading this amazing book. I have even read it before and knew how it ended and it was a freaking page turner. Don't mess with Mary Ingles.

6. Yes, this book is like Harry Potter but with mythology. And I loved it.

And lastly.....

7. To all you haters out there, don't trash it until you've watched every episode. I had a marathon of it for a week and it was the best week of my life.

We're back!

Good news. We found another pink camera! I think they may be acting like bunnies and reproducing.. Latest events: Emery visit aka visit to the deep South Pole. It was FREEZING!

I think we have all turned into one of these. Cold=evil.

Laura=ice cube. We even bypassed the extra large blizzards at DQ because we were so cold.

I'm getting my hair done here next time.

We love our mom. And Aunt Susan and Grandma and Grandpa Blazzard for making this happen for reals! You're the best!

And we love our brother.

Laura refusing to get out of the car.

Porters and Bubs refusing to get out of the car. Seriously, winter. There was snow.

I think Delia should have asked Santa for a toothbrush. Uh oh.

Sad times

Bad news, folks. So our camera finally broke. I took it out to use it today and the screen was cracked and all black. Now we have to take pictures like in the old times, like in the 90s. Where you can't see the picture after you take it or while you take it, you just have to guess. Yeah, so gems like these will be no longer: (prize goes to who can figure out where these are taken!)

Or these:

Answer: Kelly Clarkson concert at the state fair, self-timing device at Emery.

I know. Quality. But we'll miss the little gems like these that it did happen to randomly give us:

and

Yes I did drop my foot-long corn dog on the ground immediately after buying it, blow off the germs, and eat it.
Fletcher love

I have old lady cleavage.

Bubs the nerd.

Stop judging us on our cat love. Or Sponge Bob sheets. I'd say that these sheets just get used in emergency situations, but we all know that would be a lie.

Sleeping babies.

Making hundreds of neighbor gifts. If you haven't gotten yours, sorry, I temporarily ran out of black bananas..

Fights

If you hear wrestling noises and/or screaming coming out of my house, it's because Julia and I are both fighting over who gets to read this book. I started reading it and she started when I was at work. We have to take turns except on Sunday when we are both home..This book is AMAZING.

The funniest.

So, Annie may have become the official funniest person in our house.  Conversation between Annie and our New Moon promotional cup this morning en route to school:

Annie: Good morning, Edwahd (how Annie says it). I love you. You're so dreamy.
Cup: (Silent appreciation.)

Baaaahhhston day 1

Okay, I know you all want to know about my latest adventure and Halloween 2009. You did, didn't you??

This is most of our group that went, except John who was taking the picture. L to R: Jared Bacon, Erin Hill, me, Amy Hamblin, and our new traveling friend Joel. Joel is John's friend from work.

It began with us flying the red-eye. Note: flying the red eye +Emily = crabby. This is our friend John, he can sleep anywhere. Does your neck not hurt just looking at this picture?? And to make matters worse, we had a layover in Detroit at like 5 am.

No worries, Hannah Montana came on the trip again. She just loves to travel. We got to Boston, checked into our awesome, non-ghetto hotel and went straight to the Duck tour.

Joel eating his first lobster roll. Notice I said first. Lobster rolls=worst invention ever. And they're kind of expensive.

Amy, Erin, Joel and John loving the duck tour. Not really.

This was our tour guide. He thought he was a full on pirate. And wouldn't shut up. And I had to pee (shocker I know) like half way through the 80 minute tour.

This is what John and Amy looked like before the too-long Duck tour.

Boston is pretty. It makes me miss seasons. Besides summer.

Then we went to a park and took funny jumping pictures. Yeah, this was the best one that turned out and we had to do it like 6 times.

Yeah, this is John acting like a monkey and swinging from the tree. Boston might not invite us back.

What was that? You thought we were all friends before we went on the trip? You can't tell from this picture because no one is touching anyone? I know. We're weird.

Apparently walking dogs is more enjoyable if you dress up like one too?

Oh now it looks like we all love each other.

p.s. Does anyone want to kill the new way blogger has you post pictures? I do.
I know! How awesome are changing leaves? Cactus needles don't look like this. Then we decided we were starving and went and found the Cheers bar and ate at it. Food there C+. Mostly because we were so hungry we would have eaten anything.

John was the main photographer of the group, hence all the pictures of him.

Then we walked around and looked at historical stuff. It was really cool.
Really old headstones. I'm pretty sure I had to identify this stuff on these in my American Art class at BYU.
John = wanna-be Spiderman. Once again, Boston is not going to be inviting us back any time soon.
Oh look. Two jackasses riding a donkey! After this, we acted like our late-20's selves and were in bed snoring by 8:30. We know how to party.

Day 2? Salem on Halloween......

Random

What was that? You miss the posts I would do where I would post random things about us? Okay, I'll do it again. I missed it too.

1. I have already read 31 books this year. Yes, you can also have the time to read 31 books in 11 months. It's called not having a man.
2. I am slowly conquering my always wearing shoes issue. I didn't wear any the whole time in our hotel in Boston. Baby steps, people.
3. I stopped drinking diet coke and it is slowly killing me.
4. I still write things on my hand to remember them, even though I have a cute planner, and cute pads of paper to write things on.
5. I'm taking a beginning sewing class at MCC next semester and am really excited.
6. I love watching Hannah Montana. But I HATE Phineus and Ferb.
7. I loved the movie Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
8. Even though I am in my late 20s, Julia, Annie and I pretend to be cats sometimes to each other. And fight or make cat noises. We're crazy cat people already..
9. Today Annie asked how old I was and I told her 87 and she believed it.
10. Julia has a cheetah snuggie and I'm real jealous of it.'
11. I found a pair of my mom's slipper/moccasin shoes and have dubbed them my new winter shoes. They have flannel in them and are really cozy.
